Community Awareness Day is an event where local school children and the public can learn about various weather phenomenon and weather safety. Above are a few pictures from the event. Missing from the pictures above is our fill-in meteorologist Sara Sanders. She arrived a little later in the day to help out.
Each year, the four television stations in town take time to present a certain topic to the children. This year, we had the daunting task of presenting "Drought and Water Conservation." Although it doesn't sound too exciting, I think we were a hit.
