Nice weather returns today, but what about the weekend? Hello, I'm Meteorologist, Lauren Whisenhunt.It's going to be a beautiful day to end our work week with high pressure in control. Our winds today will become more southerly as high pressure slides eastward. This will also allow temperatures to be a bit milder this afternoon with highs in the low 60's under partly cloudy skies. Tonight, expect partly cloudy skies with overnight lows near 38 degrees.
The weekend looks to remain dry with pleasant weather expected Saturday and Sunday with partly cloudy skies. Highs on Saturday will be around 60. For Sunday, a dry frontal system will roll through causing temperature to be somewhat cooler. Highs Sunday afternoon will be in the lower 50s.
Monday, mild temperatures return with highs in the low to mid 60's under partly cloudy skies. We will see our rain chances increasing Tuesday into Wednesday as our next system makes its way through central Alabama. Stay with CBS 42 and we'll keep you posted.
