Weekend Weather Disco! -- Enjoy!

A beautiful weekend for CBS 42 viewers. Hello, I'm Meteorologist, Charles Daniel.

Saturday...

A weak short wave is diving into the mid South late Friday into Saturday morning.
This will produce a few clouds overnight but no foreseeable precipitation expected.
Surface winds will remain generally light across the area through the overnight
hours and into early Saturday. Winds will then shift to more of a Northwesterly
Direction which will continue to keep our weather dry and comfortable through the
weekend.

Saturday Night through Friday...

The Models continue to back off the cold air on Sunday. I think we will still see a
pretty decent Cool Shot with the expected Sunday Morning Cold Front. The
atmosphere will be too dry for any precipitation with Frontal Passage.
By Monday we return to a Southerly wind-flow and this will allow us to once again
warm up, but it will be most apparent in the mornings.

The next big rain maker will be gathering a head of steam on Tuesday over the
Central Plains. Models are in complete disarray when it comes to the agreement on
the approaching system. Especially when it concerns the when, where, how much
rain, potential thunderstorms.... you get the picture. Know this.. it will rain beginning
on Tuesday, probably in the afternoon. Periods of rain will last through Wednesday
into early Thursday Morning. Stay with us as the weekend progresses.

One another note, the models are also slowing the above mentioned system. Like
last week's storm system, we could end up bumping the timing by a few hours.
