A Beautiful Start to our Work Week!

A quiet weather pattern will continue for the next couple of days. Hello, I'm Meteorologist, Lauren Whisenhunt.

After a chilly start this morning, prepare for a nice warm up by the afternoon hours with daytime highs in the mid 60s. A weak cool front will pass through the area late tonight. This system will lack moisture, therefore, just expect a few more clouds to build in tonight. Overnight lows will be near 40 degrees.

For Tuesday, temperatures will be slightly cooler as northwest winds behind today's weak frontal system allow temperatures to climb to the lower 60s. Tomorrow will be another beautiful day across central Alabama with mostly sunny skies.

Temperatures will continue to warm up through the latter part of the work week with afternoon highs reaching into the lower 70s toward Friday.

It looks as if we could see another round of wet weather later this week. Right now, models are not handling this situation very well, so we will continue to monitor this system and keep you updated.
